Julio Rölle
Julio Rölle is a German artist with French and Belgian roots. He was born in 1981 in a village called Bersenbrück in the north of Germany. At the age of 11 he moved to Osnabrück, where he started to get heavily involved into the German graffiti scene. After high school he went to live in France for about a year. After interning at the beaux arts in Brest and Toulouse and learning under the French artist Claude Jeanmart he decided to start his graphic design studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld where he met Sebastian Bagge with whom he founded the project 44flavours for artistic designing inspired by street art. After finishing university and travelling to New York on a regular basis to do work for Ecko Unltd and Zoo York Julio and Sebastian started their own studio in Berlin Kreuzberg. 44flavours does graphic design, organises art shows and even publishes its own magazine.
