Wie können künstlerische Individualität und kulturelle Vielfalt sowohl gegenständlichen als auch geisti Freiraum prägen, verändern oder erweitern?

Puya Bagheri, Malik Heilmann und Paulina Quintana-Jornet haben sich im Rahmen eines mehrwöchigen Aufenthalts in Kairo mit dieser Frage auseinandergesetzt. Als Teil von Masala Movement ließen die drei Künstler die Außenfassade der alten Villa im Garten des Goethe Instituts zu einer überdimensionalen Leinwand werden.

Dieses mehrtägige Live-Art-Event war für alle Beteiligten ein visuell und akustisch ergreifendes Erlebnis werden und vor allem wurde Raum und Atmosphäre geboten, sich kennenzulernen und auszutauschen.

How much can free space, physical or mental be influenced, changed or extended by artistic individuality and cultural diversity?
Puya Bagheri, Malik Heilmann and Paulina Quintana-Jornet dealt with this question during their two weeks in Cairo. As part of Masala Movement they used the outside walls of the old villa in the garden of the Goethe Institute and turned it into a large canvas.

This live art event shall has offered a visual & sound experience and created a space and atmosphere to meet different individuals for creative exchange.
